Mental health

Hiii girls😊. Your peace of mind matters. Keeping your mind chilled so that you don’t lose it.

Our minds are awesome. The ability to think, imagine things, picture things etc. But if you don’t take care of your mind it can become a place that you fear. You might start hearing voices that make you crazy. For that not to happen you should keep a healthy mind set.

  • Try something that *you* think is fun

Colouring in pictures, drawing or painting might sound lame but it might just help. It’s your chance to express yourself through colour, art and imagination🎨.

  • Try playing an enjoyable game

I say enjoyable to refer to games that you will find enjoying. Some of us prefer calm games like snakes and ladders, ludo or chess🎲. While others enjoy rapid moving games like table tennis🏓,dodge ball or video games🎮. You can play these games with your family and friends. Relax! It’s not a competition, it’s just a game

  • Take a walk, jog or swim

When things are hectic or you are stressed out just take a walk. A long or short walk it doesn’t matter. To the shop, park or anywhere else.

You can also take a jog. A jog around the block while listening to some music. Music on. World off.

I really enjoy swimming and it helps clear my mind before a exam or when I just need to stay sane.

  • Take a well deserved nap

Studies show that lack of sleep can make one really cranky. So take a well deserved nap. You might just feel better.

  • Try something else

Maybe none of this works for you. This might make you feel even more stressed out. At this point just relax. Lay on your bed or lay on the grass,in the garden and just listen to your favourite songs.

Keeping our minds clear and fresh is a good way of maintaining your mental health. Our minds are wonderful places so let’s keep it wonderful🙃.

What else do you think we can do to keep our minds healthy?

Yo gal out✌…
